DON’T LET THE SUPER PACS PUT A PRICE TAG ON AMERICA
Today, 33 of the wealthiest Conservatives in America1 are counting the days until the election, laying out huge sums of money in an effort to buy your vote. Each day the leaders of the Conservative Super PACs make phone calls to their friends and ask for massive sums of money – sometimes over $10 million per person – to fund their negative campaign against Democrats, especially the President. What are Super PACs? Super PACs grew out of the 2010 Supreme Court decision, Citizens United, which allows wealthy individuals to spend unlimited amounts of money on campaigns. In the wake of the Court’s decision, billionaire Conservatives are flooding Super PACs with cash aimed at dominating the airwaves with negative ads. If you are already disgusted with all the negative commercials, just wait. Their nasty and misleading ads against President Obama will dominate every form of media. The Conservative Fat Cats are not just trying to buy the Presidency; they want the whole country- The House, Senate, Governorships and State Legislatures. We Can Not Let them buy Maryland and Montgomery County. Your County Democratic Party is making a stand and needs your help. The Conservatives may have 33 wealthy insiders but we have 250,000 loyal Democratic supporters who are joining together to re-elect President Obama and send a clear message: Montgomery County is Not for Sale.
