MCDCC to Fill 2 Gender Balance Non-Voting Women Positions at May 14 Meeting

The MCDCC will elect two new female members at their May 14 meeting in order to meet the State Party’s requirement that county Central Committees have an equal number of male and female members. As a result of the election of Juan Cardanes to the At-Large seat vacated by Sandy Raymond, the composition of the MCDCC is now 13 women and 15 men. The two new females will be non-voting MCDCC members, but will be voting members of the State Democratic Central Committee.
