Democrats to Honor the
Late Jane Lawton and the Late Marilyn
Praisner
at the Annual Spring Ball on May 4,
2008
The Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee will award its honors at the Annual Spring Ball, Sunday, May 4th, 2008, at 4:30 pm, at the Marriot Hotel and Convention Center, Bethesda North, Maryland.
- The late Jane Lawton and the late Marilyn Praisner will be dually honored with the Committee's Lifetime Service Award.
- The Woman’s Suburban Democratic Club will receive the Democrat of the Year award.
- Vernon Ricks, Jr. will receive the Democratic Precinct Official of the Year award.
- Walter Petzold, Julio Rodriguez and Patricia Salomon Rodriguez will dually receive the Community Service Award.
- Milagros McGuire will receive the Volunteer of the Year Award.
- Gilbert Lessenco will receive the Trustees Award.
The cost is $100.00 and up; parking is free
if you RSVP by April 25, 2008.
After May 1st
2008 the cost is $115.00

Award
Descriptions
The Rosalie Reilly Lifetime Service Award is granted in recognition of outstanding commitment and contributions to the Montgomery County Democratic Party throughout a career in public service.
The Democrat of the Year Award is presented to the person or organization who has given outstanding service and commitment to the Democratic Party over the past year.
The Jack Dean-Helen Peacock Precinct
Official Award is presented in recognition of
outstanding Democratic Party activism within
the Precinct Organization.
The Rita Morgan-Bruce Jerney Community
Service Award is presented for outstanding
commitment to public service in Montgomery
County and within the Montgomery County
Democratic Party.
The Kelsey Cooke Volunteer of the Year Award is granted in recognition of outstanding volunteer activity by a Democratic Party activist.
The MCDCC Trustees Lucille Maurer Award is granted for continuing service by a former elected official.
