MCDCC Cosponsors Earth Day Clean Up on 4/26/2008

The Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee is cosponsoring a clean up of the Long Branch Stream on Earth Day, Saturday, April 26, 2008. The stream is located next to the Long Branch Community Center at 8700 Piney Branch Road in eastern Silver Spring. The Montgomery County Young Democrats, the Montgomery County Department of Housing and Community Affairs and the Long Branch Athletic Association are the other cosponsors.

The clean-up is from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon starting from the Community Center. Coffee and donuts will be served. Supplies and t-shirts will be provided. Footwear that provides protection from water is advised.
