The District 16 Democratic Club invites you to attend a candidate forum on Wednesday, July 21st, from 7-9 PM. District 16 has three Delegates to the Maryland General Assembly. Current Delegates Bill Frick and Susan Lee are running for re-election. Bill Bronrott, who had been the third Delegate, resigned to accept an appointment in the Obama Administration, with the result that there are now quite a few non-incumbent candidates who are seeking to represent District 16 in the Maryland House. Because we expect an unusually large number of candidates, each candidate will have a two minute opening statement and a one minute closing comment. We encourage questions to the candidates from the public. But to make best use of the limited time available, we ask that questions be submitted in advance to District 16 Democratic Club President Sue Byrnes at: shbyrnes@yahoo.com
We hope you can attend. It promises to be an interesting and enlightening forum.
