Farewell to Former Maryland Democratic Party Chair

Maryland Democratic Party Chair Susie Turnbull asks us all to pause and celebrate the life of Rosalie Silber Abrams, former state delegate, state senator and the first female chair of the Maryland Democratic Party, who died on March 1st at the age of 92.  Turnbull notes, "Senator Abrams was truly a special Marylander who used her time and talents to make ours a better state. Her decades of distinguished service places her among one of the finest Marylanders of her generation. We extend our deepest sympathies to her loved ones at this difficult time and we will always remember her and the many contributions she made to our state. Well done, Senator. Rest in peace.”
