Interns will work in the MCDCC Kensington office, where they will have the chance to interact with Democratic elected officials and learn the nuts and bolts of running a grassroots Democratic organization. Duties may include coordinating mailings, contacting new voters, working on the MCDCC website, developing materials, supporting precinct officials, and other tasks as needed.

This is an unpaid, part-time internship. Mature high school and college students may apply. Applicants should have a  demonstrated interest in Democratic Party activities, basic office skills, good language skills, and the ability to work well with others. Applicants should be Montgomery County residents, at least 15 years old, and able to provide their own transportation.

Those who are old enough to register to vote (16 years and older) should be registered Democrats. For those who are too young to register, we ask that at least one parent be a registered Democrat. Student Service Learning Hours: students are responsible  for arranging preapproval through their school.

Applications and resumes should be received in the MCDCC office no later than 5 p.m. on May 17.
